Poltergeists, from the German word for 'mischievous spirit', usually manifest in a particular way and in this unique episode, a case of water poltergeist is focused on in-depth, along with some mention rock-throwing poltergeists. Explaining water poltergeists, where there are usually large amounts of water involved that manifests out of seemingly nowhere, the Warrens tell of a particular case they investigated in Saugerties, NY. An extended family lived between two houses not far apart. In the grandfather's home, water would be all over the house in alarming amounts, sometimes inches deep, with no mechanical or logical explanation for it.
